Visiting Beedles Lake Without Playing Golf

In short: Everyone is welcome at Beedles Lake, golfer or not. Come for breakfast, a bar snack or the Sunday carvery, sit on the patio overlooking the lake, watch the big match in the lounge bar, or hire the function room for a celebration.

You do not need to play golf, or be a member, to visit Beedles Lake. The clubhouse is open on Monday from 11am to 3pm, Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 7pm, and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. From October to April the kitchen closes at 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

Food and drink

  • Breakfast: from 9am to 12pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
  • The lounge bar: a bar snack menu, beers, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, open to members and non-members alike, with Sky television for the biggest sporting events.
  • Sunday carvery: quality roast meats, seasonal vegetables and hot and cold desserts. Reservations are required: email secretary@beedleslake.co.uk.

The menus are on the clubhouse page.

The patio and the lake

The patio has views across the lake, for a drink or a bar snack outside.

Celebrations and get-togethers

The function room overlooks the lake and can be hired for weddings, parties, presentation evenings, wakes and family get-togethers. It has its own bar, toilets and air conditioning. See weddings at Beedles Lake, or send us an enquiry.

Fancy trying golf?

The driving range is open to everyone: buy a basket of 15 balls for £1.75 at the dispenser and hire clubs if you need them. The 9-hole Little Owl par 3 course is a gentle first round, and juniors under 16 pay £10 for 9 holes in summer. Our guide for beginners explains where to start.
