Ladies at Beedles Lake Golf Club

Fancy a game of Golf?

Then why not come along to Beedles Lake and see what we can offer you. Our club is modern and progressive, and ladies really do enjoy equal standing.

If you are considering trying Golf as a sport, or you are already a golfer, here are a few bits of information on our very friendly Ladies Section you might find useful in your search for a Golf club near you.

Our membership does not discriminate and provides golf packages for all ages and levels of ability. For ladies new to golf, we offer a 3-month golf taster of £150 to introduce you to the game with the ultimate aim that you want to continue to play and become a full member.

Why not contact us for a place on the Introductory Beginners Course, which will be run over a number of weeks from January by one of our Golf professionals Marcus Speisser.

We are introducing a Buddy system to help new members familiarise themselves with the course and to practice playing either 9 or a 18 hole round There is always someone in the Ladies section to play a round of Golf with!

If you are already an established Golfer with a handicap, the Beedles Lake Ladies section is very proud to be active at county level, participating in County competitions with successful Scratch and Handicap league teams.

We actively encourage new members to obtain a handicap and to join in with our playing members, but also to be part of the very active and varied social diary. We will support you through this process

We hold club competitions over a range of days. We have a number of working ladies and understand that they are not always able to play on certain days due to work commitments but we also have ladies who prefer weekday golf and accommodate weekday competitions too.

The main qualifying competition day for the club is a Saturday but we do have a number of mixed and ladies competitions that will run on a Sunday as well.

During the week we also have regular ladies qualifying competitions on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Golf is fun and very sociable. During the year we hold fun competitions, away days, invitation days, open competitions and friendly ladies and mixed team matches against other clubs in the area.

Beedles Lake ladies are represented on the club management committee who work hard to ensure we are well represented at the club to facilitate a full golf calendar as well as social events. They also ensure the ladies interests are represented in the Club and we are compliant with England Golf and the R&A Golfing directives.
